Overview:
College Park is a pretty little neighbourhood situated right in the middle of Oakville. The gently winding streets, mature evergreen trees, and woodlots complement the houses that are well set back from the street. This neighbourhood is perfect for families. The streets are all traffic calmed with sidewalks and bike lanes. There is a nice selection of schools and parks in this neighbourhood as well as places of worship. Neighbourhood landmarks include Sheridan College, Oakville Place shopping centre and the Oakville Golf Club.
Homes:
The housing stock in College Park consists of ranch-style bungalows, split level homes, detached 2-storey houses and townhomes. These homes were mostly built between 1955-1988. The lots tend to be wider than longer so the streets seem less cluttered. There is a parking garage or two at the front of most of these homes. A number of homes in this neighbourhood either face or back onto one of the many parks, trails and woodlots that help shape this beautiful neighbourhood.
