  • Northern Dancer, was the first Canadian-bred racehorse to win the Kentucky Derby. He also captured the Preakness Stakes and the Queen’s Plate. Northern Dancer, considered to be among the best racehorses of all time. He was born at the former Windfields Farm in the north part of Oshawa.
