Mountainside
History:
The Mountainview neighbourhood was originally referred to as Mountain Gardens. It was developed in the 1950s and quickly proved popular with families. Mountain Gardens Public School has been a focal point of the community from day one. The reference to Mountain in the name takes its cue from the Niagara Escarpment which shapes and forms the backdrop of this neighbourhood.
