Sonoma Heights
Overview:
Sonoma Heights is a family oriented neighbourhood bordered on the east and the west by branches of the Humber River. This picturesque neighbourhood is surrounded by pristine parkland including Boyd Conservation Park and the Kortright centre for Conservation. The McMichael Gallery is just a few minutes north in the quaint Kleinburg community and Vaughan Mills Shopping Mall is just a short drive south. A network of nearby commuter highways make this location ideal for commutes within the GTA.
Homes:
Sonoma Heights homes feature traditional architecture with brick exteriors. These homes were built in the 1990s and early 2000s. There is a nice mix of detached and semi-detached houses as well as townhomes. The detached homes are often four bedrooms with double car garages while the smaller semi-detached homes and townhomes are mostly three bedrooms with garages at the rear off laneways.
Recreation:
Sonoma Heights District Park features a 2.6 kilometre paved trail that is perfect for leisurely strolls. This park also feature: sports fields, a skateboard park, children’s playground and a splash pad.
