The Toronto Comic Jam’s been running since since 1997 so this marks our 26th Anniversary! This is also the last Comic Jam of 2023 since we don’t meet in December.
There will be cake and speciale surprizes! There will be a special edition of the Toronto Comic Jam Zine! Not to mention there will be the usual Comic Jam hijinks in pen and paper. Bring your pencils, pens and erasers and we provide the paper. See you in the backroom of the Cameron House at 7pm on Sunday November 27th
If you’ve never been, it’s pretty simple. One person starts off a page by drawing a panel, someone else adds to it, we keep going until a page is finished and then all of the finished pages are collected into a zine available the next month. It’s a great place to hangout with other local artists and it doesn’t matter what your drawing background is. And did I mention that it’s FREE? We ask for a little donation to keep printing the jam books.
The Toronto Comic Jam meets monthly on the last Sunday of the month (except December). If you want to see more of what the Jam is like you can check out our instagram here. We meet in the backroom of the Cameron House, 408 Queen Street West and since it’s a bar, you have to be 19+. If you can’t make it out in person we have an Online Jam where people can upload and collaborate on comics and we have a discord to connect with other Jammers.
