StoryFusion Cabaret!, Storytelling Toronto’s concert series that blends storytelling with other art forms, kicks off its Seventh Season online by spotlighting established and emerging Indigenous artists in Our Past, Preset & Future Stories: A Night of Indigenous Storytelling.
This 90-minute presentation, curated by the Theatre Centre’s Creative Producer-in-training, Theresa Cutknife, features many members of the LGBTQ community and explores a wide range of themes, using song, spoken word, story, shadow puppetry and video.
The participants include: Tara Sky, Olivia Shortt, Jesse Wabegijig, Jay Northcott, Sam Twinn, Samantha Brown, and Taran Kootenhayoo.
Our Past, Present & Future Stories can be watched live on Zoom on Thursday October 22, 2020 at 7:30pm by purchasing a ticket on Eventbrite.
Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can, to give access to the program to any- and everyone, with the suggested ticket price of $10. We will also be broadcasting the show for free on Storytelling Toronto’s Facebook page.
