The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority will be celebrating the nation’s Cricketing Legends who will be touring in Canada in May. With entertainment provided by Spirited Band, where Sir Curtly Ambrose and Sir Richie Richardson play guitar, and by other Antigua and Barbuda acts, this is a fun-filled event for the whole family.
Dress code is smart casual.
About Spirited Band
Spirited Band not only boast two great West Indies cricket legends in their line up but also has some highly talented musicians. For many years, the core members of Spirited have played together and the band continues to grow from strength to strength.
The female vocalists, Tamah Boston and Ebony Thomas, have beautifully harmonious voices that blend artfully, softly and sultrily, in reggae numbers. They are also able to get the crowd moving when they launch into soca and the more up tempo songs in their repertoire.
Spirited Band performs a wide range of genres ranging from love groove reggae; soca; calypso; R&B classic reggae to rock ‘n’ roll. Quite popular both in Antigua and Barbuda, and overseas, the band plays regularly for private parties, formal dinners, weddings and at some of the islands best resorts.
