Eligible for newcomers who have either one of the following immigration status++
- Permanent Residents
- Live-in Caregivers
- Convention Refugees
- CUAET (Canada Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel)Â
++All other immigration status are not eligible at this time (Regular Work Permit, Regular Study Permit, Refugee Claimants, Canadian Citizens)
Must live in Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, or Oshawa only.
Gifts for each child 0-12 years old only!
Must be low income (2022 total household income)
- for couples-no more than $45,000 annual household income
- for single parent family- no more than $35,000 (add $2,500 for each child)
Must NOT be on OW or ODSP
Must NOT have already registered for the same program (TORONTO STAR SANTA CLAUS FUND) with another agency (no duplicate registration-may delay or cancel registration)
Must NOT have been newly arrived in Canada in 2023 (must have landed in 2022 or earlier)

Each child will receive:
- a seasonal wrapped gift box slightly bigger than a shoebox with clothing (may contain hat, mittens socks & hoodie), book, toy, cookies, toothbrush kit (toothbrush & toothpaste)
- gifts are age appropriate and not gender specific
- gifts will be delivered by community volunteers to the client’s homes.
