Survivors and allies across the world are unveiling Brave Movement Purple Commemorative Plaques – on landmarks, institutions, and online – to remember survivors of childhood sexual violence.
We are calling out the systemic corruption that enables the sexual abuse of children and adolescents, tainting the places where violence takes place to ensure that institutions, perpetrators, and global leaders who facilitate abuse can no longer hide in plain sight.
Plaque Unveiling:
A plaque remembering more than 150,000 children subjected to sexual violence in Canada’s state-funded, church-run Indian Residential Schools will be unveiled at The Gatehouse Healing Garden at 3101 Lakeshore Blvd W., Toronto, ON, M8V 3W8 – Thursday, June 9th at 12:30 pm EST.
