Join us on February 25, 2023!
The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Team up, fundraise, walk, and gather for good… because it’s cold out there.
The CNOY is a wonderful nationwide initiative that expanded to the US to help people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. We’re proud to be part of this event. Our goal has always been to help people experiencing poverty.
The CNOY event significantly impacts the local communities. In February 2022, we had over 300 people attending our winter walk-a-thon. We raised 135% of our initial goal, $101,351 in total, making Etobicoke-Lakeshore the 37th out of 165 locations on the national scoreboard. We need you to accomplish our goal of becoming #1 in North America.
With incredible support like CNOY, we at the Haven can steadfastly continue fulfilling its mission by operating the Hope With Wheels program. With a humanitarian van, we deliver hot food, clothing, necessities, sleeping bags, blankets, and friendly help to the homeless in Toronto’s core. Our Food Bank serves over 1000 people weekly, and we see a constant rise in demand. Besides these programs, we operate many other initiatives at the Haven. Please refer to our website for more information.
CNOY is a moment each year when tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities. Our vision for this year is spectacular with you on board with us! We expect many more participants and dare to dream big by encouraging potential sponsors/captains like you to make this winter walk-a-thon exceptional.Â
