Toronto local restaurant favourite, Grandma Loves You, and Canadian Drag Queen and online viral sensation, Lemon, have joined forces with Skip to create the one-of-a-kind Zestie Bestie Ceaser Sub – a sandwich available all month with proceeds going to Friends of Ruby, a welcoming space for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
Consumers are invited to try the sandwich for free and attend a fun-filled afternoon of entertainment with Lemon. Whether you are a devoted Lemon fan or looking for a new favourite sandwich, this one will surely become your main squeeze! Get hear early – quantities are for a limited time and there is sure to be a line.
Starting June 1st, the limited-edition custom sandwich will also be available for purchase through the Skip app all month long. For every 12-inch sub sold, $2 will be donated to Friends of Ruby, while $1 will be donated for every 6-inch sub, thanks to Grandma Loves You. SkipTheDishes will also donate $20,000 to Friends of Ruby, enabling vulnerable youth in our communities to receive the vital assistance they need, including access to mental health services, practical support, and secure housing.
