Monday, Sep 6 – In our first installment of the #BollywoodMonster Kidzone, brought to you by Tim Hortons, Melissa Marie teaches Soca dancing to youth, meanwhile seniors can get creative in Devika Mathur’s Warli Art workshop. Special Family Fun AMA guest and child prodigy Akash Vukoti joins!
Tuesday, Sep 7 – Music teacher and percussionist Devin Ramoutar takes youth on a guided meditation and music session on West Indian and Indian rhythms in the #BollywoodMonster Kidzone brought to you by Tim Hortons workshop. Then Khaula Mazhar gets seniors engaged in an easy to follow watercolour painting workshop. Meanwhile, illustrator and Nike collaborator Amara Ramdhanny stops by as our special Family Fun AMA guest!
Wednesday, Sep 8 – During #BollywoodMonster Kidzone, brought to you by Tim Hortons, visual artist Nimra Bandukwala hosts a fun, arts and crafts workshop on do it yourself stamp and decorative paper making. Seniors and people of all ages are then invited to Alan Faigal’s Bollywood Funk Distance-Dance Party! Playback singer Shweta Subram, the voice behind the recently trending song Jalebi Baby by Tesher and featuring Jason Derulo, joins as special Family Fun AMA guest!
Thursday, Sep 9 – Professional dancer Ria Aikat leads the #BollywoodMonster Kidzone, brought to you by Tim Hortons, workshop in Bollywood dance. It gets wild and cutting edge in Visual Arts Mississauga’s workshop on paper-cut animal illustrations that you can do at home. Lastly, Sing Music Studio leads you through a vocal and body warm-up, singing, movement & rhythmic activities. Award winning media and brand specialist Raj Girn featured as Family Fun AMA guest!
