The Toronto Comic Jam returns to its regular time of the last Sunday of the month! So get excited for Sunday May 26th in the backroom of the Cameron House.
If you aren’t too burnt-out from the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, or if seeing so many amazing comics and artists has inspired you, this event is for you! You can draw some comics and get to know fellow artists when they aren’t standing behind a table trying to pay their rent and grocery bills!
The way the Jam works is pretty simple: one person draws a panel, someone else adds to it and we keep going like that until a page is done. The paper is provided and everyone brings all of their favourite drawing tools. The finished pages are collected into a zine (and I promise to finish and print one this time) that you can take home!
If you can’t make it out in person, we have an online Comic Jam and Discord where you can connect with Comic Jammers. If you want to see more about what the Comic Jam is like, there’s our Facebook group and our Instagram. That’s about it, so see you on Sunday May 26th in the backroom of the Cameron House, 408 Queen Street West.
