Members of the Art Guild include many local artists creating original works in oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, ink, mixed media and sculpture. You will experience a wide variety of styles among the accomplished artists in this show.
Whether you are looking for an affordable piece of art for your home, office, a gift for a special someone or just to celebrate spring – there’s something for everyone. Our shows enable us to present quality original works as in the accompanying beautiful floral painting, ‘Yellow Iris, created by Valerie Russell who works in oil, acrylic and watercolour. Her art covers a wide range of subjects including arctic landscapes.
The Art Guild of Scarborough, a non-profit membership organization, has continued to thrive throughout the past 2 years by supporting our members with weekly virtual meetings featuring art sharing with in-house members and artists from across Canada. We are celebrating our 60th anniversary through a number of events including the launch of our new website and weekly stories, by the decade, of our history of contribution to the arts community of the city of Toronto. We continue to bring together people with a mutual interest in fine art.
