Williamsburg
Overview:
Williamsburg is an upscale neighbourhood of larger homes that has great appeal to families largely because of the many schools in the area. In particular All Saints Catholic Secondary School and Donald A. Wilson Secondary School are big drawing cards. In addition to the aforementioned high schools there are four elementary schools in this neighbourhood. Williamsburg is situated within the Lynde Creek Greenbelt which forms a green buffer around this neighbourhood. The Heber Down Conservation Area is situated just north of this neighbourhood providing numerous recreational opportunities including nature trails, picnicking, camping and fishing. Transportation corridors nearby including Highway 412 and Highway 407 provide residents with easy access to the 400 series highways that service the Greater Toronto Area making Williamsburg an ideal neighbourhood for commuters.
