Stevenson
History:
The Stevenson neighbourhood was originally part of Whitby Township which was annexed by the City of Oshawa in the 1950s. Stevenson Road is named after a prominent family that once held large land holdings in the area.
Overview:
Stevenson is a mostly industrial-commercial corridor situated in the southwest corner of the City of Oshawa. There is also a mix of random unbuilt rural areas as well as recreational parkland at the southern tip overlooking Lake Ontario
