Centennial
Overview:
Centennial is part of north Oshawa affectionately referred to as “Nosh”. This is one of Oshawa’s older neighbourhoods with a wide variety of houses that are affordable for first time buyers. There are many parks scattered throughout the neighbourhood providing lots of greenspace and recreational opportunities. Simcoe Street and Ritson Road are lined with shopping options. Northview Community Centre and Northview Public Library are neighbourhood hubs.
Homes:
Centennial has a large number of bungalow and two-storey homes from the 1940s and 50s. There are also a large number of townhouse enclaves built in the 1980s and 90s that are affordable starter homes.
