At Times Learning Centre, Newmarket, we provide Computer Integrated Systematic Tutoring in Math, English, and Science for Elementary and High School students.
Experienced teachers with over 25 years of teaching experience (using the Ontario curriculum) at the School and University levels.
Program highlights:
Elementary Math (Grades 1 – 6): We focus on the fundamentals of six aspects of Math: Patterns and Algebra, Number Sense, Measurement, Probability and Data Management, and Geometry.
Grades 7- 8: Extensive practice on fundamentals of Prealgebra and Algebra basics, Fractions, Integers, and Order of Operations.
English (for grades 1-8): Our Language program helps your child to excel in analytic, comprehension, and writing skills. The program focuses on Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills (essay and Paragraph writing), Grammar, Punctuation, and Usage.
We provide special classes to prepare the students for upcoming entrance tests in Math for admission to pre-IB programs starting Grade 9.
High School subjects include: – Math Grades 9 and 10 (Principles of Mathematics)
– Grade 11 Functions
– Grade 12 Advanced Functions
– Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors
– Grade 12 Statistics
– Grade 11/12 Physics
– Grade 11/12 Chemistry
– Individual Learning sessions with extensive practice of fundamentals through teacher assistance and practice worksheets.
