ICFF is screening ‘A Muso Duro’ other known as, ‘Hard-nosed’ directed by Marco Pontecorvo, preceded by a panel discussion taking place on November 30th at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto.
Accessibility and inclusion are at the core of the ICFF and this event aims to shed light on the success and challenges related to wheelchair basketball while being of immense significance in promoting awareness and understanding of the Paralympic Games and disabled peoples. The movie itself, “A Muso Duro,” serves as an inspiring tribute to the legacy of doctor Antonio Maglio, who dedicated his life to the complete social recovery of disabled individuals. This poignant film also highlights his significant role in organizing the first-ever Paralympic Games in 1960.
