Evergreen’s Cultural Performing Arts Series is excited to welcome the Sarah Thawer Trio, live at Evergreen Brick Works on October 10, 2021.
Sarah Thawer is a world-renowned drummer and recording artist based in Toronto, Canada. She is known for being a versatile musician, playing a wide range of genres from jazz and fusion to Indian/world, funk, R&B and hip-hop. Sarah has performed and worked with artists including Jacob Collier, Steve Vai, George Watsky, SheilaE., Jon Batiste, A.R. Rahman, Nicholas Payton, Nigel Hall, Myron McKinley, Sekou Bunch, Mark Lettieri, Tegan and Sara, Char (Hisato Takenaka) and Osman Mir. Joining Sarah Thawer (drums/band leader) are Caleb Klager (electric bass) and Ewen Farncombe (keyboards).

The venue: Koerner Gardens at Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Ave. Head through the main parking lot and enter the building with Café Belong, across from the market’s pavilions, to find this special performance.
