Eligible for newcomers who have either one of the following immigration status++
- Permanent Residents
- Live-in Caregivers
- Convention Refugees/Protected Persons
- CUAET (Canada Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel)
- Permit Holders under the Crisis in Gaza (Document issues by Palestinian Authority)
++All other immigration status are not eligible at this time (Regular Work Permit, Regular Study Permit, Refugee Claimants, Canadian Citizens)
Must live in Toronto (Postal Code starting with M), Brampton, Mississauga, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, or Oshawa only.
Gifts for each child 0-12 years old only!
Must be low income (2023 total GROSS household income)
- for couples-no more than $45,000 annual household income
- for single parent family- no more than $35,000
- add $2,500 for each child
- Example 1: a family of 4 (couple with 2 children)=total GROSS household income must not be more than $50,000 ($45,000+$2,500X2=$50,000)
- Example 2: a family of 2 (single parent with 1 child)=total GROSS household income must not be more than $37,500 ($35,000+$2,500X1=$37,500)
Must NOT be on OW or ODSP
Must NOT have already registered for the same program (TORONTO STAR SANTA CLAUS FUND) with another agency (no duplicate registration-may delay or cancel registration)
While supplies last so register early to avoid disappointment!

Each child will receive:
- a seasonal wrapped gift box slightly bigger than a shoebox with clothing (may contain hat, mittens socks & hoodie), book, toy, treat, toothbrush kit (toothbrush & toothpaste)
- gifts are age appropriate and not gender specific
- gifts will be delivered by community volunteers to the client’s homes.
